A Sunday stroll down Amazonas Avenue in La Mariscal, with friends, with family, by bike, on foot, this is how we will celebrate a day of urban cultures together with the Mariscal Sur Urban Initiative.
At 10:00 this Sunday the 18th, we will inaugurate ‘Llenar La Mariscal’, the Amazonas meeting point between JWashington and Robles, with all of this working for the Centennial of La Mariscal and the 5th Urban Culture Festival.
‘Urban Poetry’, with the collaboration of students from PUCE and La Metro, we will print verses, phrases and positive messages at all the intersections of La Mariscal from Colón to La Patria.
‘Photographic carpet’ with 53 giant portraits of neighbors of La Mariscal that they themselves will install on the sidewalk of La Mariscal. We adhere to the international project InSideOutProject. and we call attention to the empty buildings in the neighborhood.
‘Cultural flea market’, neighbourhood residents put their cultural objects up for sale for a second life.
